Overview
The group function has been simplified for field workers who need to use it quickly and simply.
Background
Line Works is a service for business communication and collaboration.
Primary Users
Wildly used by field workers
Field workers frequently change their location and therefore require efficient collaboration tools. Additionally, given that they typically fall within the age range of 40 to 60 and have limited digital skills, they necessitate user-friendly interfaces.
Secondary Research
Quantitative & Qualitative data analysis
I analyzed the pain points of Line Works by analyzing the reviews left by users who are already using Line Works and Line Works search big data.
Primary Research
User interview
I interviewed three interviewees with similar ages and digital literacy levels to the field workers using the think-aloud method to analyze their needs.

Solution
UX/UI Redesign
Point 1.
Hard to know what Group is
As-Is
There was no on-boarding process to ease the journey. Thus, users were confused how group is different from normal group chat.
Point 1.
Guide content provided at the right time allows users to understand what a group is.
To-Be
The help bot sends a guide content introducing Group feature when a user invites more than one member.
UX/UI Redesign
Point 2.
Difficult to create new groups
As-Is
The button's contrast was low that it's hard to notice.
Point 2.
More intuitive process
To-Be
We improved the add button more visible with the primary color with lable.

Takeaway
Verification is required after development to determine whether it is actually possible to photograph a dog's iris from a distance.
Various UX designs have been designed to improve the accuracy of long-distance shooting, but it is necessary to check whether it is actually possible. I'll find developers to create a demo version.
